Ceramic in building construction is considered a material that for the moment has no substitutes. Its high resistance, easy cleaning, low maintenance, and decorative value make it a timeless element.
Since ancient times, we learned to use mud as an element for all kinds of constructions. In the beginning, only a mixture of earth and water was used to make a hard paste that was used to build houses. Later they added branches or manes and segmented them, giving origin to bricks. Later in history, they used stone, and in this way, the constructions became stronger and bigger.
Later the brick material was combined with clay and thus tiles were born. They quickly became popular because of their beauty and were not only used as construction, also as decorative elements for all spaces. Many of the old buildings preserve exquisite designs made with tiles and they are an element of wealth.
With the Greeks and Romans, mosaics emerged. They perfected the technique and managed to make compositions of small tiles of great beauty, many of which we have managed to admire today in temples and palaces.
The handmade is very popular nowadays, but ceramic floors have been industrialized, so we can have ceramic floors of all kinds and for any environment, because now the ceramic floors come in all presentations.

Removing old ceramics is important
It is not good to install ceramic tiles on top of old ceramic, because eventually, the floor will come loose because the adhesive needs a more porous surface for a good grip. Our team knows this, so they will clean the space and be sure to remove the old tiles.
The surface must be prepared, the floor and/or wall must be completely level, and otherwise, the new ceramic tile will not be properly installed.
The surface must be chipped: Ceramic tiles need a porous and irregular surface to adhere well, so it is important to chip concrete walls and floors. This work is done by tapping with a combo and chisel.
After this process our installation team proceeds to place measurements and glue, to begin installing the tiles.
